The SCORM file generated from Articulate Storyline 3 is not working on Internet Explorer

Sep 27, 2017

Hello,

We have a license for Articulate Storyline 3 and we have created few e-learnings. We have uploaded the SCORM files published from Articulate Storyline 3 on our local LMS. But the e-learnings are not working on IE 11. They are working fine on Chrome. Is it that the Articulate Storyline do not support IE.

Hasan Safdar

Dear Matthew,

Thanks a lot for your reply.

Let me explain the issue to you. We have created three e-learnings using Articulate Storyline 3. After publishing them to SCORM 1.2, we uploaded them onto our local LMS. But as we are trying to access them on IE 11, we are just getting a blank page and nothing is happening. Although, the same e-learning is working fine on Chrome. We have checked this issue in 5-6 laptops ,and on both Windows 8.1 and Windows 10.

I have checked the two steps suggested by you.

1. Compatibility mode is not enable in our IE 11.

2. Adobe Flash Player is updated and working fine.

Please assist further.

Regards,
Hasan Safdar

Dear Matthew,

We are able to resolve the issue.

The issue was because we were selecting HTML 5 as a Format while publishing the course in SCORM 1.2. After selecting Flash as the format, the issue got resolved.

We really appreciate your help.
