Just wondering what tool is being used to create this discussion forum? We are looking at building a similar online community to ask questions and share answers. I thought of this forum because it is one of the better online communities I have been a part of. Anyone know?
I too am interested in the technology behind this site. I want to add though to this discussion and "articulate" why this forum is so successful. One reason is that the Articulate staff is dedicated to building a community. An excellent forum is created because people can come here to get answers in real-time. This is due to many things such as dedicated users, excellent product and prompt community moderation. When building an online community you need both pieces: the technology and the management.
This is a bit of a passion of mine because many clients come to me thinking that the LMS provides the instruction. As instructional designers, we know that it is the content and the design of that content that is the instruction.

p.s Really this forum is a great example of how community trumps technology because the technology behind the last forum was poor, at best. But yet it was still a great online community to get answers, make contacts, etc. The reason for this is due to the reasons stated above.
Coming to this discussion 4 years later .. but also very interested in knowing the tool used for this forums as I would like to add a similar one to my course.
