Hello! I'm in need of buying laptops for E-Learning Developers and want to know the top laptop options. Please include specs if possible. Appreciate your expertise!
For info, I got myself an HP ZBook Studio G4 mobile workstation with 16Gb RAM and an Intel Xeon processor and absolutely love it. I use Articulate and Photoshop and also do simulator scenario programming on it and so far it hasn't missed a beat.
Hi Tanya! Are your developers going to be working on any other applications, such as Adobe Creative suite or anything similar? Or will this equipment be used strictly for developing on something like Articulate 360? Also, will the equipment be used on the go or is it going to be primarily used in an office setting with little to no travel involved? Ned's Zbook Studio G4 recommendation is a good one, but that model might not be as light and compact as your developers might need.
The latest versions of my HP (the G6 and G7) are down to just under 1.8kg. Mine is about 2kg and goes everywhere with me - a huge improvement on the mobile brick I used to carry around !! :-)
Just thought I'd point out that when you respond directly from your email, your signature is appended to the message. You may want to pop in there and edit out any personal information that you don't want to share with the community.

?Hi Jesus, they will use other apps (Vyong, Adobe Cloud Creative Solution, etc.).
Laptops will be used to work remotely as well as when the desktops crash.
Would be great to have a 15 inch screen also.
Kind regards,
Tanja
