Total New to Elearning and Embark on Elearning soon... Need Advice to start...

Hi Articulate Admin,

i am planning to embark on Instructional Design/Courseware Development program soon in about a couple of months' time. And there is a elearning module which requires project work in terms of design and develop elearning program. 

I am totally new to elearning and also currently exploring option on programs that are easy to learn and with minimal learning curve. Following the discussion, even seasoned users find the pricing exorbitantly high. I am newbie who is likely to be student the moment I commence the ID/CD program. I have no ideas how to decide  on the storyline 2, 3, studio 13, 360 to begin with and like to know of there is student perpetual version for I am likely not to use it after my course is over. 

Also, will there will free online training/tutorial to help total newbie to start about the functional and how in very short time able to pick up sufficient competency to complete my elearning project with high quality and high impact outcome and allow me to complete my elearning project with distinction.

Also, if the pricing is affordable, I might recommend my cohort to consider getting it to complete their coursework as well.

Sorry you're having such a hard time understanding the difference between the different solutions we offer. Just so you know, we're no longer selling Storyline 2 since we came out with Storyline 3. Here's some information that will hopefully help you better understand the difference between our solutions:

  • Articulate 360: yearly subscription including all our authoring tools (Storyline, Rise, Studio, etc), Content Library (1.5+ million illustrations, icons, photos, and videos), a review app, and free online training. Click here for more info.
  • Storyline 3: latest perpetual version of Storyline, a application that allows you to easily create highly interactive e-learning. Note that some of the new features in Storyline 360 are not available in Storyline 3. See this table for more details.
  • Studio '13: latest perpetual version of Studio, a powerpoint plug-in that allows you to easily convert PowerPoint presentations into e-learning courses. Click here for more info.
