Tracking a course that’s syndicated across multiple LMS?

Nov 11, 2017

I have a course that several corporate clients will use in their own LMS systems.

Is there a way somehow in the course to send usage data back to me (I’m a 3rd party) so I can analyze without having to have each client download a report in their own LMS and send to me?

So if I have 20 clients, I’d like to see how each of my clients is using the course in terms of what content is getting viewed, how many unique users in the course, and overall course % completion by student.

Is such a thing possible?

Jacob - are you tracking only common SCORM level data or do you need to add xAPI statements along the course? My first question would be more legal and security. Do your clients know about your needs? In one sense, you could be viewed as an added value resource for each client who might receive from your data on how their company is doing versus others. It would be easier for you to host your course on your own LMS and give each of your clients a unique link.
