I've actually used Rise 360 to showcase example interactions. The SMEs in my organization didn't need to know the specifics of how I set up triggers in Storyline or how I set up different blocks in Rise 360, since they wouldn't be the ones actually putting the content together. Rather, I showed the end results (showcasing both Rise interactions as well as Storyline-built) and explained the necessary information needed from the SME to create each piece. I also built a PDF guide that showed the same. The good thing about both of these options is that you can send the course/PDF to the attendees afterwards so they can reference it.
The PDF contains proprietary information, but I've created a mock-up of what I did (see attachment). I created my "Activity Catalog" in PowerPoint and converted it into a PDF once I had everything the way I wanted it. Once I did that, I made the links in the Table of Contents interactive (so that they jump to each page when clicked).
note: slide colors and footer are editable in the slide master view.
I've found this useful in the past too. I have a demo in Rise that uses all of the different interaction types and I give this to SMEs so they know what kind of interaction they can write their content for.

Do you have any idea which topics you'd like to cover with eLearning courses?
Hi Isobelle,

I think just general things for an SME, how to get started, what is best for us to start with?
Hi Holley,
That sounds wonderful, would you be able to send me a copy of the PDF please?

Here you go: https://www.4-pt.co.uk/samples/rise/rise-features-4pt-website/index.html
There may be a few things that I haven't added as Rise is constantly being updated but the majority of features are shown.
