I'm beginner with Articulate 360. I was wondering if we may use either SL360 or Rise to design a training needs assessment survey. I see there's survey questions slide and results slide but is it gathering the whole data from the learners?
Welcome to the community! :) You can create quizzes (which can be used as surveys) with both Storyline 360 and Rise 360. The main difference is that with Storyline 360 there are more different types of questions.
I'm not sure I fully understand your question about whether or not our tools "gather the whole data". Could you explain what you mean?
Hi Celine! You couid collect whatever data you'd like from a Storyline course by implementing custom xAPI statements, but this takes some JavaScript know-how and a Learning Record Store.
So, it's definitely possible to do this in Storyline, but it would require exponentially more time and effort than if you used software that was specifically designed for surveying users, such as Questionmark or Qualtrics.

Rise doesn't have survey questions, but you should be able to use storyline, avoid the likert question type and use a results slide and data should be captured in the LMS.
