I created a trigger for audio to stop playing when the user clicks any one of 7 objects is selected. I went to edit the trigger and it is not showing up. However, the functionality is still there (the audio stops playing as programmed)! There are several other triggers on the page and they all show without a problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
I opened your file and I see what you're saying... very strange! Unfortunately I'm not sure what's going on here. The quickest way to resolve this issue is to have our Support Team take a look. You can submit a case here.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
You're welcome! Also, just thought I'd point out that when you respond directly from your email, your signature is appended to the message. You may want to pop in there and edit out any personal information that you don't want to share with the community.
I had a look at your Storyline file and can confirm that there is currently no logic applied to the audio file. There are also no triggers present to manipulate the behaviour of the audio / sound clip. Can you maybe inform us as the what trigger you configured to have the audio stop as mentioned in your initial post.
With regards to your logic still working - there is an explanation. Currently on each of the layers' properties, you have the option enabled to 'Pause the timeline of the base layer'. Since your audio clip resides on your base layer, it will be paused the moment any of the layers are opened. Since your buttons only switches between said layers (that have this option enabled) the timeline on the base layer is never resumed.
You can test this yourself by simply copying the close button from the base layer to the FHA layer, change the button's logic to 'Hide this layer' when it is clicked. Preview the slide, open the FHA layer and close it again, you will notice the audio resumes.
As far as I can see, there is no bug, only a logic conflict in the way in which the slide is configured.

Here's the slide so you can see...

Got it! Thanks anyway for reviewing it!

Sure thing!
