When I add an activity, consisting of a URL link, to a course section (this section of the course only consists of the URL), the enrolled students don't see it. Only the other administrator and I can see it to access.
According to the instructions I am uploading the URL correctly.
I've explored different websites for a solution but haven't had any luck. Does anyone out there have any ideas?
It sounds like a permission issue. Is the section hidden? Is the URL itself hidden?
The URL could also be set to be hidden if it's linked to another activity. For example, if it's set to only be visible if students have completed another activity, they won't see it.
Have you tested adding a URL to another section? What do you see when you or the admin log in as a student?
Thanks so much, Christy - that's exactly what it was - we couldn't find the specific permission at first, hence my message. The good thing is that I'm learning more and more about Moodle!
Moodle is powerful because you can tweak so many different things, but that also means the learning curve can be pretty steep for all those settings. Glad you found the right place to adjust!
