We've had a couple of meetings and I'm the keeper of the emails and lists, but would rather use a collaborative space. If you want to be part of our group, you can reply to this thread (or email me directly if you want: holly at sparkandco dot ca).

Oakridge is great for me - close to my work and on the way home.

There is also Whitespot for afterwards.

Hi Kima,

Sorry for the delayed reply, I have just sent an email to Vancity to get more information. They will tell me what the procedures are.

On another note, I will not be able to help book or participate in future sessions (for now) as I am moving to Berlin early next month.

There is an underground parking if you will be driving. SkyTrain is exactly one block away from the office.

Hi All,

Is central Surrey to far to go? I only ask because I can think of some spaces available in the Central City area, all which are accessible by transit. If Surrey is an option, let me know and I can look into further.

Hi all

Sorry I haven't been in the loop for this meeting but would love to attend also.

Look forward to when and where.

If anyone is interested our deaprtment, Academic Technolgy Services at Douglas college is hosting a one hour workshop on "Using Images and Graphics to Engage your Students".

We have to panelists with a show and tell how they use this medium.

Hi all - my room finding luck has been poor, so wondering how people feel about meeting at a restaurant? I was thinking Rogue at Waterfront Station, which is central for transportation. For future meetings, Peter's spot will work - near Oakridge (but he's not able to guarantee spot until next time).

Could you please remind me of the date? Is it March 9 and if it is I can't make it that day but will attend other meetings.
I am ok with the location too, but can still offer Douglas college as a hosting site for other dates.

Yup I can do Rogue, have had lots of after-work meetups there. However, since it is a restaurant, it will require that we partake in food and/or libations (which works for me!)

Hi all,

I think I prefer to wait for a meeting in a different venue. (i.e. SFU or the room that Peter is suggesting, or something similar rather than a restaurant.)

I wish I had another suggestion to offer!

I am back from my business trip and checked room availability. The room I was hoping to get is available after 4:30 pm. If you are still considering the different locations and options I can offer our office (it's one block away from Oakridge SkyTrain station).
