Variables changing fonts in Storyline 1 Oct 12, 2015 By James Bonney Hi All, Just a quick question. I'm using Storyline 1, when I use variables in my courses, the variable changes the font of text, on the same screen as the variable. Is this just a Storyline 1 issue, or does it happen in 2 as well? ThanksJames

James Bonney Author over 8 years ago10/13/15 at 8:24 am (UTC) Thanks a lot Ryan! I decided to try Arial after posting, and it seemed to stop the issue. I can use Arial for this project as it's iPad based. However for desktop, I have a brand specific font that I use, so Arial wouldn't be possible.
Phil Mayor Hero over 8 years ago10/13/15 at 9:22 am (UTC) The variable fonts are not embedded and if not installed on the users machine default to web safe fonts as defined in HTML document. Using reference in a textbook will also change all the text in that textbook to a web safe font
