Variables - How to and Use of Video?

Hi David,

When I look at the second link part 1 that you share with us, I am a little confused of the "total" variable, my question is that how can we make the value of "total" equals to the sum of the value of "communication" "coaching" and " listening"? Is there a way to make that possible? I don't think that has mentioned in the video.
