I was tasked with putting interactions on videos that are imported in from Camtasia. The videos are in mp4 format. I have tried triggers to pause the media until the user clicks a hotspot and triggers to stop the timeline until the user clicks a hotspot. The problem is that sometimes the video starts playing on its own. I have also noticed that if I click anywhere on the screen the video will start playing. This results in the video getting out of sync with the interactions.
Does anyone have any ideas/solutions on how to stop a video until a hotspot is selected on the video?
you could try putting a transparent shape (fill colour with 100% transparency) over the video and then the hotspots on top this means the user can't click on the video itself as the transparent shape stops that. Not sure what the action is when the user clicks the hotspot to say what the trigger should be
Glad you got it sorted Judy - just to let you know when you reply via email your email signature and details are displayed in the forum post. You can come in and select to edit your post to remove them if you don't want them public.

HI Judy
without seeing how the file is setup

I inherited this project and this solution worked beautifully!
Thank you!
