Video Screen Capture Software Help

Apr 27, 2012

I will be recording video tutorials on various software applications and would like to have the ability to 'zoom in' on certain areas of the screen occasionally during the video. I currently have Screenpresso, but it seems to lack this functionality. Any suggestions on what video software does this effectively?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Mike,

I love TechSmith's Camtasia Studio which can, among other things, do zoom and pan.

David Anderson posted a screenr about Microsoft's zoomit which can be used with Screenr to "zoom, pan, and annotate." His screenr is here: https://player.vimeo.com/video/204930472

Zoomit can be found here: http://bit.ly/xKF8

Hi All,

Sorry for all the gooble-dee -gook in my above post :-(.

Here's links for Mac and PC downloads. Free use for 30 days.

There are educational and volume discounts. This is some of the BEST money I've ever spent, aside from Articulate of course! And no, I don't work for the company!

Very easy to use, IMHO, and good support. Not quite up to this community's standards, but close second. And there are few companies I say that about.
