So, I'm trying to figure out how to add volume control on a playback bar in Captivate. I know this is an Articulate forum, but most elearning developers work in both products so I'm hoping someone knows how to do this.
I'm going to publish the Captivate and then import into Articulate, but have to have a way for learners to adjust that Captivate volume overall.
I found the volume control slide widget, but nothing for playback bars. Anyone know how to do this?
If you are familar with Flash AS3, you can edit the playerbar's .fla file and add this fucntion. The Flash source files for all playerbars come with your Captivate installation. The location of these files will vary, depending on your OS version, on my system there are here C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 6 x64\en_US\Gallery\Playbars\AS3\
If the Captivate SWF is going to be embedded in Articulate (I'm assuming Presenter, but I don't think it matters), couldn't you just have it synced to the Articulate course's playbar and volume control? In Presenter, when you insert a flash movie, you can elect to have it play in sync with the course.

I'm not a programmer, so I wouldn't be able to edit the Flash file without instructions. How do you do it?
