Anybody know of a flash widget or other means to give the user the ability to take a picture of themselves in the course? The picture needs to be saved for access later.
Hmm... You might be able to pull it off with Flash and some JavaScript. But it would be purged when the user closed the window. Would be quite a bit of data.
I'm just trying to create a demo of some idea I have. I'm not really sure what would be the best way, but what I'm currently thinking would require the picture to be saved somewhere and the file location to be saved as a variable to be called up later.

This might work:

Requires some server-side for retaining the image. This one uses PHP.
Thanks Steve,
This might do for what i'm about to attempt. Know of any solutions that don't require server-side scripting?

Just spit-balling here (and I do NOT have the coding skills to back it up), but...
I wonder if there is a way to leverage the free-response feature of a quizzing function to house the pic?
