Web distribution & customization of courses

Jun 07, 2011

I have a question regarding web distribution and customization of Articulate courses and i'm not sure exactly where to start. I use Articulate to publish training courses for our global sales staff and use Coursemill as the LMS - and that's working well.  We now have a suite of presentations that our sales staff use to educate our customers (outside of Coursemill) and while i'm using Articulate to generate some nice material, i have three key issues.

1) i need to distribute the material globally and ideally want to do it via the web;

2) while the customer presentations are being generated in a recommended order, we want the sales staff (user) to be able to change the order of any slides and create their own personalised presentation (without
editing any slide content - that is locked down);

3) slide content needs frequent updating from head office so ability to update the "master set" on the web home should deploy updates to any user, or at least allow users to download the latest updates.

I'm hoping there might be an out-of-the-box solution to all this, but that might be in vain.  Is anyone able to help point me in the right direction of where to start looking?

Many thanks.

Hello and welcome to Heroes! Presenter presentations are not really connected in anyway to one another. They are standalone projects from an authoring perspective. I would suggest taking a look at the tutorials regarding how to manage project files:

For every unique presentation, you are going to need  a unique presentation. You can create a dupe of a master presentation by following the steps here:
