We are thinking about integrating live webinars into our online course portfolio. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of software they have used in the past.
At this stage we haven't discussed requirements - just looking around!
We use adobe connect but only because we get a good corp license deal. I like the interface well enough but there a re many that seem to be quite similar.
Jigsaw looked promising at the ATD Intl Conf and Expo and might be worth checking out. www.JigsawMe.com
We've used GoToMeeting for small groups (2-20), where we need some conversation, and GoToWebinar for large groups that are simply Instructor-Led with a little Q&A.
I've experienced GoToMeeting, Blackboard Collaborate, and Adobe Connect. All of those seem to work well. Some folks also record their webinars using Google Hangouts and upload as a video later on.
If editing is required (e.g. if the live sessions are training related and you need to remove errors that occurred during the session), I would highly recommend TechSmith Camtasia.
GotoMeeting is the best. I have conducted my webinars on this tool. Easy-to-use GoToMeeting features make online collaboration a breeze. Hope below features of will help to make your decision easier.
HD Video Conferencing Screen-Sharing VoIP and phone in Online Meetings Mobile Apps for Online Meetings Custom Meeting Room Change Presenters Meeting Recording Works with Other Apps, Use GoToMeeting together with Office, Email and instant messaging.

Thanks Ashley. GoToMeeting seems to be a popular one. Just drafting up a list of ideal features which should make the decision much easier :)
