What software to use . . . .

Jan 22, 2019

I like the storytelling on these sites: Seven Digital Deadly Sins: http://sins.nfb.ca/ and NPRs Borderland: http://apps.npr.org/borderland/

http://blog.apps.npr.org/2014/04/23/how-we-built-borderland-out-of-a-spreadsheet.html

Much of these have github libraries supporting their projects.

My question is can articulate do much of the same, that these 2 storytelling installations do ?

Or should I  start to learn the different coding that these sites have embraced? I'm not against learning unless I only use the learning once and then move on.

Hopefully some smart people out there might give me some insight into what magic is supporting these sites and what might be the best way to emulate these storytelling methods.

Thanks for any help you can provide -- Mark

Hi Mark,

Effective storytelling is less about the technology you use and more about how it's written and told. I think you could definitely create some great storytelling projects with Storyline.

Are there specific effects that you're unsure about being able to achieve in Storyline? If so, let me know and I'll try and help you figure out what's possible.
