When should I publish (using free trial)

May 23, 2017

Hi there. I'm building a little practice project on my free trial.  I'd like to publish it so then I could click through it and experience it as a regular viewer would (with narration, quiz) but I'm afraid that if I publish it now I won't be able to make other final edits.  Once I publish can I make edits and then re-publish? Or is it just publish once and that's it?   Thank you.

Ok, thank you.  But I'm also wondering about making edits to a project after it's been published.  Once a project has been published, is it still possible to make edits to it and then re-publish it? (or something like that)  Or once a project is published, is it absolutely finalized and no more edits can me made at all?

Thanks

Hi Mariam! I had a similar situation and YES you can still see the final product. I uploaded my final project to Blackboard Coursesites (free LMS) and provided my professor with access to the course. A year later, I still had access to my uploaded final project in Blackboard Coursesites. Also, you might consider getting a free Amazon S3 account so you can save your project and access it again should you decide to purchase a Storyline subscription in the future. Here's the Rapid E-Learning Blog about saving & sharing your Storyline projects. Hope this helps!
