Which more tools to learn\use?

Hi,

I'm an ISD developing ILT and eLearning as well as developing solutions in SharePoint.

I mainly use PP and Articulate, also using Captivate, Paint shop pro (with PP 2010 less and less photo editing outside PP is required, it saves time to do all in same application without  switching, so I find myself creating even gradients in it...). About a decade ago used a bit of Flash.

I'm known for my visual and creative skills, and love these aspects of my job as well.

I'm looking another tool to enhance my developement options and output look-n-feel quality. 

So I'm eager to hear your suggestions for tools and reasons. Flash? After Effects? Others?
