Attached is an drag-n-drop interaction where the learner is supposed to find out a correct order. If the result is wrong, I would like the interaction "reset to initial state", but even though I have marked that Option, the drop-items remain where they are, instead of jumping back to their initial state.
Can anyone see where the Problem is? Your advice is much appreciated. Roland
Have a look at the attached and see if that's what you want. Reset to Initial State only applies when you revisit ("navigate back to the slide"). I fixed and added a few triggers and used a variable to count the attempts.
Smashing and absolutely what I had in mind. Not sure though, if I were able to reproduce it myself, since - for instance - I cannot really fathom, why it needs this variable (variables is one of my weak spots) but for this project it works fine now and if I need it again, I might just duplicate your template :-).

Thanks again, Michael and best regards Roland
When you jump back to the same slide to reset the drop items, you would also reset the question attempt counter. So, you need some other way to count the attempts (in my example 3) with a custom variable. The variable is increased when the Submit button is clicked.
I had that problem first, that the question attempt counter was reset when jumping back. Now you just taught me, how I can finally make my interactions even more intuitive.
Great stuff, Michael. Thanks again and sorry for having been a bit slow on the uptake :-) Roland
