I use Camtasia 8.1 and create videos in mp4; If I publish on my local computer an play the articulate published file, all is well; but when I move the published articulate folder to a folder on the LAN, the videos do not work.
To resolve, I moved all the files on the LAN and then reinserted the videos into PowerPoint and then published on the LAN and the videos still did not play.
Also, please be certain to test your content in it's intended environment. Web output should be uploaded to a web server and viewed with a valid http address, since viewing published content on a network drive will cause you to encounter security restrictions related to your web browser and Adobe Flash Player that may cause various features of your content to fail.

Here are some really useful troubleshooting steps for the scenario you are experiencing. If I had to wager a guess, my money would be on a missing MP4 MIME Type on the Server.
Also, please be certain to test your content in it's intended environment.
