Issue in Storyline 2 SDK

Hi,

I have tried to create custom frame for Storyline 2 using Storyline 2 SDK. I have completed all the custom design , functionality and its working fine. However I am facing two issue

1. The Prompt windows not showing the title. (Resume and when clicking submit button on MCQ slide without selecting option)

2. The content outside the stage area is not visible in the published output, even I have removed the masking script. Usually we will place the page number text box below the slide stage area, it will fit into the respective place in the custom frame footer place holder for page number.

It would be great if you share your solution for this.

public function SetTitle(strTitle:String):void
{
//this.titleField.htmlText = strTitle; //only "R" is appearing

this.titleField.htmlText = "testing"; //full text appearing
}

hi, without doing any changes in custumframe.xfl, but do changes in "PromptWindows.as" worked for me.

public function SetTitle(strTitle:String):void
{
this.titleField.htmlText = strTitle;
var myfmt:TextFormat = new TextFormat;
myfmt.font = "Articulate"
myfmt.bold = true;

this.titleField.setTextFormat(myfmt)

}

Hi,

There is no ready-made guide/resource available to learn SDK. Lemme list some of the prerequisite knowledge and required tool to do...

1. Understand Storyline published file/folder architecture

2. Using SDK, we can change only the skin part of SWF version / desktop version

3. If you open the same output in iPad then you will have Storyline default skin only

4. Using CSS3 and jQuery you can some how edit the skin part of iPad output also.

5. Required Flash CC installed in your system to edit storyline SDK

6. when you publish "customeframe.xfl" of storyline SDK, you will get frame.swf

7. you have to  replace the "frame.swf" inside the story_content folder in the  published version

i hope info will help you to start learning storyline SDK...
