Storyline Frame SDK Example?

Is there plans to have a better example included with the Storyline Frame SDK?  It would be nice if the example was a 1 to 1 of what Storyline spits out when it publishes the content

One thing that would be nice to see is the example code for the frame to have support for detecting the correct placement of the Player Tabs  Right now it appears that the frame example only supports having the tabbed content show in the sidebar  I know that this may not be completely possible since the actual frame dimensions change based on whether there is a sidebar or not  This causes the frame swf to be published out at different dimensions to add the required space for the sidebar while keeping the slide content area the required size

We obviously can't do that for our custom frame  We are restricted to setting up a frame that either has a sidebar or doesn't

I believe that having a more robust example that more closely matches the frame from Storyline along with example code for many of the methods in the documentation will help developers really be able to utilize the SDK to it's fullest potential

Yes!  Anyone have any luck finding or producing a SL-equivalent player/frame?  I found how to make the change I need to the player via the SDK (disable scrubbing without losing the other playback controls or the progress bar), but the player look and feel is now totally different than we configured inside Storyline

You can fix all issues by yourself I have restyled the complete customframe example for a customer and added some more functions like a search or slide counter (Slide 05/87) So my example is the same what the storyline software generates in the ouput I cannot post my code here, because my work was for a customer but feel free to contact me via PM

+1 from me

I was going to attempt to create a custom Storyline player skin but got thrown off by the lack of good documentation on how to do it   I fiddled with the CustomFrame xfl file in Flash CC to change the buttons design (wanted a more "flat design" player for a project I'm working on) but my published frame swf was acting very funky so I'm not pursuing it further for now

I'm also put-off a bit by the lack of HTML5 support for the custom player skins   The Storyline SDK seems a little half-baked to me

I was also hoping for a player API so that I could have some basic FlashStoryline cross-communication like we could do with the Presenter SDK/API

Are there any plans to release an updated version of the SDK that addresses some of these shortcomings?
