🔥 Fire Mods for Rise – An Open Source Script to Unlock Extra Features in Your Rise 360 Courses

Hi Heroes,

I’m currently working on a Rise 360 content project for a client and, like many of you, I’ve run into the familiar limitations when trying to customise interactivity or visual elements beyond what Rise offers out of the box.

Since third-party tools can become expensive in the long run, I decided to build my own solution – a lightweight, open source script that can be easily linked to any Rise 360 project after it’s been published.

🔥 Introducing Fire Mods for Rise – a JavaScript file that gives developers extra control and functionality within their Rise courses. The script is fully commented and designed to be easy to work with, even for those newer to custom scripting.

Current features include:

• Triggering custom scripts with Rise button blocks
• Adding a custom interactive reflection block to any page
• Triggering custom scripts when blocks scroll into view
• Visual and background styling options for Rise blocks
• Automatically hiding the course navigation menu on start

To use it, just download the script and link it to your published course’s index.html file – that’s it! All features can be toggled at the top of the script, so you can enable only what you need.

The script is free to use and adapt, and always will be. I hope it opens up more creative possibilities for those of us who like to extend what’s possible with Rise.
