360 degree illustration/graphic

It's great that we can use 360 degree photos to create 3d experience for our learners. But is it possible to create a 360 illustrated graphic, similar to computer games, from scratch? Keen...
Ideally, you will want to use an equirectangular image (2:1). But you could possibly design your own. I built this one using Illustrations from Content Library and shapes in PPT. It's not perfect, but you can get the idea.
