360 photo and video support

We've got a Ricoh Theta 360 degree camera which we're using to create immersive learning experiences.

I'm trying to find out if Storyline 360 has support for 360 photos but having 360 in the product name makes searching hard!

Adding my vote here as well! Is the end of the year still the target for these capabilities?

  • Anyone sent in enhancements request? Is Articulate working on incorporating this feature ?

      Hi Jeffton!

360° Images is currently in development! Trust me, it's incredible! We'll report back to this discussion when the feature is ready to ship.

Hi Lauren, I work for London Underground and this feature would be incredibly useful. Imagine looking around a train cab and interacting with hotspots. We bought a Captivate licence for this purpose alone.

When do you expect this feature to be released? Is there a beta programme I can join for early access?

      Hello, great news!

Lauren, could you add me as well if it's possible?

      Thanks!

So the 360-feature is in beta? Im sorry but this is ridiculous.. Its a feature that should have been implemented 10 years ago! I use Storyline everyday, but im constantly looking for alternatives because there´s so many features it doenst support! :(

Hi Emil. We gave up on Articulate implementing 360 a long time ago. Our LMS is Moodle which now has H5P embedded as standard. H5P has a 360 feature that meets our needs just fine.

I would like Articulate to know that it's nice to offer a Beta channel, but it would be highly irresponsible for us to develop production packages in Beta software.

  • Hi Robert, Andrea, Tony, and Developer Team,

I appreciate you reaching out regarding the beta program as we continue to refine the 360 images feature for everyone!

I've shared your requests with our team internally. They'll be sure to contact you directly if they find it's a good fit!
