Adding an Author for Rise 360 Courses
I would like to identify a Subject Matter Expert as the author of a Rise course. Currently, my only option is me (I am the only Articulate 360 user).
Am I able to add another name to the list of available authors in Rise 360?

This uses a snippet of html (its a great time to start learning html and css if you're using Rise). The method uses the way Rise's text editor works natively- just using different styles. I can make a screen recording if anyone wants to see the process.

Hi Phil, I just came across your post here about using a snippet of HTML to customize the Rise Course Avatar setting. It looks like maybe no one replied to your post so you didn't end up posting your solution. I would really like the ability to do this in a Rise course I'm working on. If you happen to see my message here and don't mind, I would love to try and implement your solution. Let me know what you think! Thanks, Corri

Hi Corri, this specific example is no longer possible due to a recent change to the 3rd party text editor that Rise uses. But there are still ways to add elements through theme components, including instructional text. One video you'll find interesting is adding elements to a Rise ui and introduces pseudo-elements, which I categorize as an "advanced CSS selector" in my theme course. Welcome to the magic of pseudo elements:

How did you do this in Rise?

Not only is it possible, it makes the cover page somewhat useful. Here is my first stab at a design, this could even be a grid of several authors, showing 2 here in Apex theme:

Also interested to know if there is any update on this matter.

Is there an update to this, our team with Articulate accounts are not the course authors and we need a way to identify them with an image.
Hello, Anahis. That screenshot is from Rise.com! If you don't already have an LMS and you're looking for a place to host your online training content, give it a try!

Yes, that's what we do. I was hoping for a more elegant solution. I'm going to hack the SCORM package of the next course that I build. I'm pretty sure I can find the location of that value and modify it.
Hi Galen!
Could you hide the course author, then add the SME's name in the course description area?

That's what I am afraid of. The credit for the courses in our LMS goes to the presenter or SME. I'd like to be able to add their names to the course without buying a license for them.
