Adjusting video size in Rise360

Hi all,

I would like to embed a video in a Rise page. Unfortunately the video is quite old and the resolution is quite small hence the quality is not too good.
Unfortunately the Video template in Rise stretches the video across the whole page, which makes things worse. So I'd be very happy if I could adjust the size of the video, but so far I couldn't find a possibility to do that?

Does anyone have tipps on how to achieve this?

Regards, Frank

  • You could create a Storyline project with the exact dimensions of the video and add that to your Rise project.

  • Hello FrankWeber-b606,

    Happy to help!

We recommend setting the embed width for smaller-sized embedded videos to "Small." This will reduce how much your video is stretched to match the width of the block.

There isn't a way to go smaller than this setting. Still, if you could get a copy of the video as a file, perhaps you can use video editing software to resize the video and make it bigger to reduce the factor in which it is stretched when added to the course. Feel free to share the video here if you'd like us to explore other possible workarounds!
