Animated Background - Storyline
Hey,
I was watching the recording of the webinar - How to Build Timeline Interactions in Storyline 360 and noticed an example showing an animated background: https://kvaz-ehc-315.s3.ca-central-1.amazonaws.com/story.html
However, there isn’t an example available for download. Does anyone know how to create a background that moves along with the timeline when clicked?
I'm super new to Storyline—it's only my third day using it. Thanks! :)
It looks like that example has an image that's wider than the slide. The image has two motion-path animations: one that moves to the left and one that moves to the right. Each has a relative starting point, that is, the next move will start from current location.
Each click on the timeline triggers the appropriate motion path. To do that, the slide must use a variable to track whether the clicked spot on the timeline is less than or greater than the previous spot.
That's a LOT to handle on your third day of Storyline. 😀
