Animation in Storyline through the Morph Transition
- 6 months ago
Hello everyone, 🎉
I have some great news to share! We just released another update for Storyline 360. In Update 98, we’ve included essential fixes and new features. One of the new features we’ve included is:
- Engage learners with fluid transitions that seamlessly animate objects, shapes, and other content between slides.
Launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer to take advantage of this update, and click the Update button next to Storyline 360. You’ll find our step-by-step instructions here.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.
Let me start by saying I haven't looked at this, and certainly haven't tried it. But doesn't PP have an export to .MP4 option? If so, can you create a video then use that inside your SL slide?
I'm guessing that any export to MP4 output may be low quality, but perhaps worth a try.
If this is ever going to be possible then Storyline needs to have all the animations PPT has at its disposal. Which makes me suspect this is not close. Even then this will only work in a linear course. And will break when you jump around the menu. It is very useful in PPT and I can definitely see places it would help in Storyline. I would however, prefer to see more granular control on animations natively in storyline.
