Articulate Storyline 64 bit install issues

Hi all, I checked my Articulate 360 Suite for any updates, and it indicated I do not have any updates.  Yet, when I check the version of Storyline I have, it is from 2023.  I then downloaded Storyline 360 64 Bit and asked my IT department to install on my laptop.  The software is now sitting there, but it does not want to open up.  I get the below screen, then it closes again.  I tried uninstalling my 32bit Storyline but cannot even do that.  I asked Tech support, but they only gave me the standard answer, check for updates using the same the things I have already checked.  I do have a 64 bit laptop with more than the specs required so that cannot be the issue.  I also get the below error message when I try and open up a storyline file designed by someone else in 64 bit version.  This may not have anything to do with the 64 bit version, I just have a very old version of Storyline, and it could be that?  What I do not understand is why Storyline 64 bit does not want to open, and why I cannot update my existing software.

    Thanks for the feedback.  Do we know why the updates are not pulling through though?  Will I have to do this regularly?  Not ideal, as we do not have administrator rights on our work laptops.  Is it a setting on our profile with Articulate, or could it be a setting from our work IT re updates? Where do we start looking for the issue?

    If anyone is experiencing a similar issue, you may want to check if your Articulate 360 desktop app needs an update. Here's how:

    1. Select the Articulate icon in your computer’s system tray (It's usually near the clock, in the bottom-right corner)
    2. Right-click the icon and select Quit to close the app
    3. Open the Control Panel on your computer.
    4. Navigate to Programs > Programs and Features.
    5. Uninstall all Articulate 360 applications, including:
      • Articulate 360 desktop app
      • Storyline 360
    6. Download the latest version of the Articulate 360 desktop app.
    7. Right-click the installation file, choose Run as administrator, and follow the prompts to complete the installation.
    8. Once the desktop app is installed, open it and log in using your Articulate 360 credentials.
    9. Click the Install button next to Storyline 360 to download and install the latest version.
    10. Repeat this process for any other apps you need, such as Replay 360 or Peek 360.
