Audio Delay When Published But Not When Previewed
I have a slide with audio that should begin playing when the timeline on the slide begins. When I preview the slide, it works as it should. When I publish the course, the audio is delayed by 10-15 s...

Hi Ed,
most of our affected laptops have 32 GB of RAM, so I don't think the amount of memory is a major factor. What other hardware differences are there? What about audio chips and their drivers?

Hi Christoph,
I will confirm the hardware differences next week. If I remember correctly the old devices have 6 cores/12 threads and the new one is an i5 (something like 6P+8E with a total of 20 threads). I will get back as soon as I have the data, probably next Wednesday

Just checked and the specs are below. All devices use Edge as the only available browser.
There are a few variations of old computers. Here are the specs:
- OptiPlex Micro 7020. CPU: Intel Core i5-14500T (1.70 GHz)
- Windows 11 enterprise 25H2

- Display adapter: UHD Graphics 770 (128MB)

- 8GB RAM
- Dell Optiplex 3080. CPU: Intel Core i5-10500T (2.30 GHz)
- Win 11 enterprise 23H2
- Display adapter: UHD Graphics 630 (128M)
- Realtek Audio
- 8GB RAM
The new computer has the following specs:
- Dell Pro Micro QCM1250. CPU: Intel Core i5-14600T (1.80 GHz)
- Win 11 enterprise 25H2
- Display adapter: UHD Graphics 770 (128M)
- Realtek Audio
- 16GB RAM
