Audio issues in Presenter 360

I've been facing audio issues with Presenter 360 since I installed it a few days ago. I am able to import audio and I can hear it when I preview the slide however, the audio is not audible in the narration window or the audio editor. I have changed my system settings to 16 bit 44100 HZ. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Every troubleshoot process in the book I have tried it. Randomly somehow it worked for a bit yesterday. I took a break for a bit saved and closed and when I resumed, no audio again played around with my system settings again and miraculously it worked for a bit again. I signed off for the day and then today after logging into my laptop I find that the audio isn't audible again, the system settings are the same. It doesn't work even when I change the settings. Please help me.

It sounds like a frustrating issue, Sadi! Audio problems in Presenter 360 can sometimes be caused by conflicts between the software and your system’s audio drivers or settings. Since you’ve already adjusted your system settings to 16-bit 44100 Hz and reinstalled the software, here are a few additional steps you can try:

    1. Update your audio drivers: Make sure your sound drivers are up to date. Outdated drivers can cause compatibility issues with software.
    2. Check for Presenter 360 updates: Ensure that you’re running the latest version of Presenter 360. Updates often include bug fixes for known issues.
    3. Switch audio output devices: If you have multiple audio devices (like headphones, speakers, or virtual devices), try setting one as the default and testing again.
    4. Run Presenter 360 as Administrator: Right-click the software shortcut and select "Run as Administrator" to rule out permission issues.
    5. Contact Articulate Support: Since you’ve already tried extensive troubleshooting, it might be worth reaching out to Articulate’s support team. They can provide targeted solutions or check for known bugs with the narration and audio editor.

I hope one of these suggestions helps resolve the issue for you!

  • Are you importing it from the Articulate ribbon?

It may be better to learn Storyline as Presenter 360 is no longer being actively developed.
