Audio Missing (there on Replay) / Overlapping in Review360
I have a SL project that was published with a version from early April (v3.114.36620, I think). It was tested extensively with Preview and then again in Review360 by my colleagues and manager. No one reported any audio issues.
Several of my executive-level SMEs have reported audio issues: missing audio (but appears upon replay) and overlapping audio on one slide that uses a button-set with layers. Currently all audio is timed to start at 0.25 on each slide or layer. The one slide with the button-set has layer settings of "Hide other slide layers" and "Pause timeline of base layer."
I have upgraded the software to version 3.115.36688.0 and republished to Review360. I've had several colleagues test again. No one who tested it found issues with this version either.
Before I send it to upper management, can you confirm whether there was a recently fixed bug related to audio? I cannot upload the file into the forum but could with a support case.

Hi MauraSullivan-9,
Sorry to hear that your Storyline course was not playing back as expected.
I can confirm we did resolve a Storyline bug, which caused behavior similar to what you've shared. This bug was not specifically related to audio. However, it did affect the playback of Slide Layers. This issue was fixed in Storyline Update 3.114.36655.0.
It sounds like the behavior is no longer present after updating to the current version of Storyline. Please let us know if you run into any setbacks moving forward!

I don't think this solves all of the problems. There was only one slide with layers, but there were multiple slides where the audio was not playing unless you used PREV and/or Replay.

Hi MauraSullivan-9,
I'm happy to jump in here!
It's difficult to say what caused the missing audio issue without seeing your file. It sounds like the issue has been resolved after updating to the newest version of Storyline, correct? If this is still occurring, it'd be helpful to test your file in a support case. We'll delete it once troubleshooting is completed!
