Block Users from Registering in Reach 360

Does anyone know if it's possible to block certain users from registering in Reach 360? We have employees signing up for courses in Reach 360 instead of using our internal LMS, as we use Reach 360 for non-employee audiences, and I'd like for employees to not occupy a seat in Reach 360.

If blocking isn't an option (based on email domain, ideally), does anyone know if deleting a user disables their access to Reach 360?

  • Thank you for the reply, EricSantos! To make sure I understand, if I want to avoid any of my company employees being able to self-register, should I create a new group and add all employees to that group and ensure there is not a self-registration link generated? Ultimately I'm trying to make it where anyone with my company's email domain isn't able to activate as a user in Reach 360. Is that possible?

      Hi PeopleCulture-3,

      Thanks for your follow-up question!

If you want to prevent all your company employees from self-registering, another possible option, rather than creating a group, is to turn off self-registration for your entire account.

But I think it would be best if we could take a closer look at your specific use case to make better recommendations. I created a support case and assigned it to our Reach 360 team so they can work closely with you on this matter. Please expect an email from them shortly.

  • Hi PeopleCulture-3

Good question! I'm happy to help.

You can turn off self-registration entirely or for specific groups to block users from registering.

To turn off self-registration for a specific group, delete the links by clicking the trash can icon. To turn off self-registration for your entire account, toggle self-registration to Off on the Settings tab and click Save Changes.

For more detailed steps, see the Reach 360: Manage Self-Registration article.
