Hi, I was able to work around this.
Hi, Shua. What was your workaround? I tried just typing a 1. and 2. in front of my regular-text steps and not using the formatting options but it doesn't indent properly and looks funky on some of my screens.

If I am remembering correctly. I just typed it in like you. I didn't indent them because of the same reason you mentioned.
Ex:
1. Step One
2. Step Two
