Closed Captions Won't Stay Off
I have a Storyline course that has closed captions setup (just like all my other courses). It is automatically turned on as soon as the course starts, the CC button can be selected to turn them off - but on the next slide they are back on again.
I have tried doing a Save As on the course while renaming it, turn off closed captions from the player properties, saved it again, closed it and reopened it, turned on the closed captions and the issues continues.
I have never seen this happen before. Does anyone have any ideas to resolve this issues??

You mentioned that even after the user turns off the closed captions by clicking the CC button, they are back on when the subsequent slide loads. I'm curious if there is a trigger in each slide or in the slide master that turns on the captions when the timeline starts for each slide.
Please let me know if this is the case, and removing the triggers fixes it. Otherwise, it would help if we could look at your project file to investigate the issue further.
