Collapsible menu in Rise?
I love the feature of the side menu for the learner to navigate quickly. However, in one of my courses there are a lot of places to go resulting in the menu being cumbersome. Is there a way to default to have the menu collapsed as shown in the attached file?

Why do you basically ignore all really important feature requests and just make updates that look flashy but aren't important?
This request, among many others (like an option to automatically play media for example), is really important and probably quite easy to fix - as I could hack the html code and java script after it is published to make it do it. However, I want to show my clients what this would look like in review 360 first and I shouldn't have to find time consuming work arounds for something so simple.
6 years is a ridiculous amount of time to ignore something so important.
Edit: I am referring to being able to collapse the concertina inside the sidebar not just collapse the sidebar.

I agree. I see that Articulate has answered that there are no plans to change this. I would like to boost this post, as I've seen a few more people asking for this lately, and strongly ask Articulate to put this on their priority list. It's awesome that our clients are asking for more Rise deliverables, but many of our projects would benefit greatly from this addition. Can you at least make it an OPTION to have the menu open collapsed/uncollapsed?

I agree with all above

Upvoting and emphasizing the need for this request. Please make the menus open already collapsed in the Rise sidebar. How many times do people need to ask for this request before it becomes available?

It should be an option to have the Menu Sections either open or collapsed, as our organization definitely does not want the Menu Sections collapsed by default.

I agree that it should be an option. People have valid use cases for both.
Hi KristaEaston-c7! I can see how this functionality would be beneficial in Rise 360. I've shared your request with our product team to revisit. We currently have other features that we are prioritizing for upcoming releases, but if this becomes more of a priority, then we'll update you in this discussion.

It looks like this thread has at least 60 people posting and agreeing with the request for this feature. Especially for those of us using Rise to design complex and lengthy legal or compliance guides. I second the comment that mentioned both the accessibility benefits and simply the overall look of having a choice to program whether the menu opens as collapsed or uncollapsed. I hope you prioritize us and support the instructional designers who use your product, buy company subscriptions, and even convince clients to also buy subscriptions to Articulate. I thank you for your response and am looking forward to this feature being incorporated soon.

Please add me to the list as well.

I think an initially collapsed menu would be a great enhancement - add me to the list of requesters please.

I agree with the collapse of sections as initial view - I have MANY lessons in this course and having the sections collapsed when first opened would greatly improve readability of the very long list of lessons. Thank you for everything!
