Continuing discrepancy between visited states and layers...
I continue to struggle with the Storyline's limitation in that--for whatever reason--the states too many times don't match the positioning in the normal state/layers.
For example, I have a text object that pops up when the learner gets directed to a new layer, but when they click on another element to proceed to the next layer, this text object should stay on-screen so I have it inserted in the visited state, but for whatever reason, it's slightly off-positioned, but it's noticeable.
Why is it that I can't simply copy the text object from the layer into the visited state without worrying about adjusting the positioning??

Sorry to hear about the trouble with object positioning between states/layers.
Unfortunately, it looks like your description falls under a bug we are monitoring where the text alignment moves when adding animation between layers.
Would you be willing to share your Storyline file with us so we can confirm whether your setup falls under this bug or if it is something else? You may also share it privately by sending it along in a support case. We'll delete it when we're done testing!
