Creating Answer Keys in Rise?

Anybody have an easy way of creating quiz Answer Keys on Rise? In Storyline, we can export in Word doc and just remove non-quiz elements.

In Rise, you can only export in PDF. And if you somehow are able to convert PDF to Doc, some of the text/characters are missing so you have to manually check each question.

Thanks for any suggestions.

  • I require answer keys for the facilitators. Until then, Rise is of little use to me. I hope this functionality is seriously being considered.

      Hi Tacha,

Thanks for reaching out! We are still gathering votes to include the answers and feedback in Rise 360's PDF export. I've added your voice to this request, so you'll be notified once this feature is added.

We consider every request our customers make, and here's our process for managing feature requests. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have additional questions.

  • Yes, a generated key would be helpful. Many of the developers need to send a set of answer keys for each module to the review committee, who them uses them to review the modules each year.

  • We also need this functionality for blended learning training classes. Did anyone discover a way to do this, with correct answers attached?

      Hi Melissa,

We manually add the correct answers to the Word file.

  • I'm also looking for this functionality. Not for the purposes of either providing feedback or reviewing the course. We need this for record keeping and sometimes to help facilitators follow up with learners after the fact.

  • Thanks for the response. We must have answer keys for our quality assurance process and our 3rd party provider testing process so the testers have the correct answers to the exams.

Hope this provides clarity - let me know what additional questions you have.

We are excited to see if this is something that is added to the functionality to Rise.

  • Hey Articulate, any updates on this functionality? We are starting to use Rise more and we are spending a lot of time creating Answer Keys.

Hello, there. Can you tell me a bit more about how you'd like to use answer keys? Would it be provided as an attachment for learners as a reflection tool? Or rather, would they help you in the course review process?

Let me know your thoughts, and I can get this need documented for our team.

This would be an incredibly helpful feature for us. We use the answer keys both internally and externally. Internally, they help in the review process while courses are being built and reviewed, and also when members outside of the business unit are completing LMS testing. Externally, the answer key is used when the courses are being staged by our third party provider before going live in our User LMS system, and also when we submit our training courses to the government regulator for approval, as they need to see that we are verifying correct knowledge among our crew members.

When you create a PDF from Rise, the answers to questions are not exported, so not much help.

Right, you have to manually edit the document (if you can) to highlight the correct answers.
