Different Version of Storyline
After watching the demo of how to create an Advanced JavaScript in Storyline, I'm not seeing a dropdown menu when I click "Execute JavaScript." I'm clicking on the right object as in the demo (see attached JavaScript Editor #1 image). When I right-click the object I want to scale, I don't see the object ID at the top. This is what I see (see JavaScript #2).
Aside from updating to the version of Storyline shown in the demo, how can I create a JavaScript to scale an object, since I'm not able to follow the steps the demo presented?
Hello AngeliqueSummer,
Thank you for sharing a screenshot with us! Since you are working with an older version of Storyline, I'd recommend checking your Articulate 360 Desktop App updates. Since you are not seeing any banner or notification on your end, we can do this manually.
Here's how:
1. Open your Articulate 360 Desktop App.
2. Go to the dropdown in the top right of the app to manually Check for Updates. Once you're running the latest version of the Desktop App, you'll be notified which apps need to be updated.
3. To check what version you're running manually for a specific tool, you can hover over the app, click the down arrow, and click Other Versions.
- This will open a window including the latest updates and the ability to install.
-
- Here's a quick visual of these steps in action, for your reference!
I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi Angelique, can you tell me which version of Storyline you're using? You can find the version number by going to Help > About Storyline. You can also use the 360 desktop app to check for updates.
It's possible you'll need to update to see the new features.

My version of Storyline is v3.94.33593.0.
My Articulate 360 is not showing an update available for Storyline.
