Does anyone else find Rise is slow these days?

Rise has been very slow and quite glitchy as of late. I initially thought this was an issue with my computer being overloaded and slow as a result. However, we've tested this on multiple computers ...

    Hi Everyone!

    I’m happy to share that we just released a new update for Rise 360!

    This update fixes the issue that was causing slowdowns while authoring course content. There’s nothing to install for web-based apps. New features and fixes are immediately available!

    If you’re still experiencing slowdowns, first please ensure any browser plugins have been disabled. Also, when working with large scale courses, some slowdowns are expected. To remedy that, we suggest breaking larger courses down into smaller pieces.

The only issue I found was when I was deleting a lesson. It kept saying "Processing" .. But, once I added more content to that lesson, then deleted it; it worked.

Sorry to hear you've run into this setback!

Was the Rise lesson you were trying to delete, completely empty? We're currently tracking a bug in Rise 360, which causes:

  • Deleting a lesson that has no content gets stuck on 'Processing'.
