Does anyone else find Rise is slow these days?
Hi Everyone!
I’m happy to share that we just released a new update for Rise 360!
This update fixes the issue that was causing slowdowns while authoring course content. There’s nothing to install for web-based apps. New features and fixes are immediately available!
If you’re still experiencing slowdowns, first please ensure any browser plugins have been disabled. Also, when working with large scale courses, some slowdowns are expected. To remedy that, we suggest breaking larger courses down into smaller pieces.
If you have questions about this update, or the issue you reported, please connect with our team through a support case.
Thank you!
Yes, I had to get a new laptop, it's better now with the Alienware
Hello Javid_S,
I'm sorry to hear this was a setback for you. I understand using Alienware has helped your experience in Rise 360. I'd like to learn more about your previous setup!
- Could you share the specs and setup of your previous machine? I'd like to share this with our engineering team.
- What browser are you using to author in Rise 360? Do you notice any difference in behavior if you use another supported browser?
- Did you notice the slow response time with a specific block type or across all blocks you edited?
- To ensure Rise 360 is working properly, you'll want to make sure these network endpoints are enabled on your new laptop as well.
If you are experiencing this behavior in your new setup, it would be helpful to see a screen recording of this behavior. Feel free to share in this thread or privately in a support case.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
