Drupal 10.3 and Articulate Integration

We use Drupal 10.3 for our website, and sometimes we post Rise courses as links from this site. Our web team is concerned that the Rise courses are not being indexed or searchable from our website since the links open in a new window that is basically a mini-site in itself.

Does anyone know of a way to resolve this issue? Can a rise SCORM package be uploaded to a Drupal site and will that fix the issue? I am grasping at straws here. Hope someone out there in Articuland can help.

Thank you!

That's a valid concern from your web team, the Rise content won't be searchable via your Drupal site unless you build a tool to scrape the Rise content and catalog it in your Drupal db. Are you using the Rise content as a self-help resource for users, instead of a traditional 'online course?'

Yes, it is for self-help resources. We use it primarily for software application admin and user guides.

Gotcha, that is a downside of the way the Rise content is packaged in a separate 'application' in your case. What you could do is make new pages in Drupal for each course, and export a pdf for each course and copy the text into the Drupal page, so users will be able to find it via your site search. But on the page template, hide all the text visually (css) and provide a link to the course itself, and explain the content they're looking for is located in the course.
