Edit Motion Path - Storyline
The last editing a motion path in Storyline was discussed appears to be nine years ago. Has there been any update on how to edit a motion path once you've created it, and attached an object? Can we fine tune where the direction of the object will go? I'm still not seeing it.
Although the upcoming Morph transition and the advanced Javascript API are no replacements for the motion path both can do similar things. Eg. when not perse limited to 1 slide you can use the Morph transition to make any movement ( over 2 slides ). In tests even importing a Powerpoint with Morph transitions worked ( although timing was off, and triggers needed fixing ). Especially that i do like as that opens up Storyline a lot. The advanced Javascript API uses WAAPI ( Web Animation API ) and with that you also can make motion path like animations. And ofcourse GSAP works fine with the advanced API too, so that works great too.
u can edit a motion path easily, click on the animations tab and the pull the handle to the required location, you can also change the length on the toolbar
