Embedding Excel file within Storyline

Has anyone had luck embedding an Excel spreadsheet (the browser-based version) as a web object in Storyline? Using MS 365 for Business, we have tried to do this, setting the file to be accessible by any member of the public. When we open the file itself in any browser, we can access the spreadsheet. But when we view it in Storyline, a login is required--and we can't count on our users to have an account.

We're asking Microsoft support about this, but I thought I'd ask here, too. Has anyone done this successfully?

    You will have to make sure anyone with the link can view.

    Then ensure the URL in the embed code includes the parameter 

     action=embedview

     to allow viewing without requiring a login. Then use that in your iframe

      Thanks, we are still not getting Excel to work consistently across browsers without requiring a login. We're going in a different direction.
