Eyedropper Not Working on Extended Monitors (360)
Hello,
I'm trying to use the eyedropper in 360, but it's not picking up the correct color I'm trying to eye drop. For example, when I hover over orange it shows up as green. I'm on a Lenovo laptop, using Windows 10, connected to multiple monitors. When I disconnect from the other monitors and just use the laptop, it works just fine. Any suggestions for making this work on multiple monitors? The laptop screen is so small!
Thanks!

I discovered this same issue just yesterday. I'm using the most recent version of 360 and once I disconnected my additional monitor - it works. However, having two monitors is more convenient when I'm working on projects so it'd be nice to not have to disconnect one to use the software. Will there be another update to correct this?

Hi Valesa and Barbie,
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know!
A couple of questions for you as we dive in here:
- May I ask what the current Display and Resolution settings are?
- Does this happen in every file or just a specific file?
Currently, I cannot recreate the issue in a new project file running the latest update. Here is what I am seeing when using a second monitor:

Finally this issues appears to be fixed with the new updates. I just installed the new update for articulate and for storyline as well, and FINALLY I can use the color picker on my second monitor!

Hello, I am now experiencing this issue with the new update. My eyedropper only works if I disconnect my 2nd monitor, which majorly interrupts my workflow. Any advice?
Hi KC,
Thanks for popping in to share what you are experiencing and I'd be happy to help you with steps to prevent that workflow interruption.
Best recommendation when using multiple monitors:
- Be sure that the DPI for each monitor is identical.
Second best if you have different DPI settings:
- SL main window must be on the Primary monitor and "More Fill Colors" modal must be opened on the primary monitor.
Let me know if this works better for you.

Just piping up, for the SL team, to say that I'm still experiencing this issue. Color picker just chooses black for everything.

This is still a problem! Installed latest patch last week, eyedropper doesn't work now. Also, you can't open player properties on a 4K extended desktop monitor.
