flip Card accessibility is not working with the assertive tool JAWS screen reader
Dear Articulate,
We have used flip card blocks "Flashcard Grid " into our e-learning with 10 number cards in a block.
When we test these in the output with the JAWS screen reader, the screen reader does not guide the learner how to move the next flip card and is also unable to tell which flip card he has to go through in the content for this block.
The screen reader automatically for all 10 flip cards with out stop. This is very confusing for the learner when to flip to next card.
Could you guide us how to fix this issue or Articulate will release a new update with fixing tis accessibility issue for flip card block.
An early solution is highly appreciated.
Best regards,
Siba

Hi SibaPrasadPadhi are you sure this is an issue with the flip-cards? I also have used JAWS and NVDA with the flip-cards and have not experienced the same issues that you have. For example, JAWS reading continuously through the flip-cards is something I can instruct JAWS to do, but the default behaviour for me, is to control JAWS moving through the cards using my cursor keys (up/down) and then controlling the flip with my ENTER key (or SPACE BAR I think).

Hi SamHill.
Could you please guide us on the JAWs setting that needs to be done to avoid this error? and we can guide our tester. Thank you.

Hi SibaPrasadPadhi there is plenty of information around on controlling JAWS. I keep this document of shortcuts handy for when I'm testing, to ensure I'm using the software correctly when I come to an element that isn't working as I expected.
Let me know if you continue to find issues with the flip-card behaviour.

Yes, even i am facing the same issue, where, JAWS screen reader do not reads flip card instruction one by one, it reads continuously, it is difficult to say which Flip card JAWS is reading. could you please help to fix the same.
Create a test scenario of 10 flip cards in Flash Card grid, and use any Screen reader to go through each of the card front and back test with TAB. analyse it and let us know your findings.
